101 in 1001

April 19, 2010

Ash –

You know it’s a Monday, when you wake up, and your Facebook newsfeed is filled with these kind of statuses:

  • “Still haven’t started my book review and it’s 2 a.m. in the library… I have some serious issues”
  • “Why do I wake up so tired?”
  • “Ugh if only the weekends lasted forever and Monday’s never came!”
  • “Back to the real world…”
  • “Class cancelled?? What a wonderful Monday present!!”

Clearly most of us are not in our “happy” place on Mondays. Except for that last person. We need to drag him/her down with the rest of us (KIDDING… sort of). Actually, I’m determined to finish these last two weeks of school on a good note.

And with summer so close that got me thinking about what I need to get done before finals, during the summer, etc. Yeah I like making “to do” lists. Thankfully so does Matt. And the blogging world has come up with a really fun one: 101 in 1001.

The Mission: To do the 101 things on our list in the next 1001 days.

Start Date: April 19, 2010 (today)

End Date: 1001 days or approximately 2.75 years from now (I promise I’ll figure out the real date, but remember the part about today being a Monday? Unless one of you wants to figure out the deadline for us… please?)

So during my research paper breaks (which is ALMOST done and due this Wednesday), Matt and I came up with our 101 things. At some point, Matt will create another tab on our blog so you can refer back to it, but in the meantime enjoy our list’s debut!

If you count today, 1,001 days would be Jan 13, 2013. If not, then Jan 14, 2010
